Indigo Dyed-Shibori Cotton Table Top

This is a lovely table  top (or runner) which will bring color on your dining table. I dyed it with Indigo, using an ancient Japanese resist technique called shibori. Indigo has a significant place amongst all the natural dyes, mostly because it has been the most important source of blue for so long. Shibori is a well known pattern making tachnique and that created these nice geometric patterns. 

This is an eco-friendly product and contains no harmful chemicals. This table top is the result of a slow production consisting  many stages and it takes at least a minimum of 4 days to prepare it.

The table top will preserve its colours if the care instructions are followed. It can be hand-washed with mild ph-neutral detergent.
